Bethany from MCP Actions contacted me and asked me if I would create some edits using the Baby Steps Presets and Brushes from their collection.

MCP Baby Steps Workflow Presets comes with 6 steps that take you methodically through your edit which include exposure adjustments, white balance adjustments, color adjustments including haze or crisp choices. The third step in the workflow addresses skin color like reducing reds, yellow and grays that babies often have as newborns. The fourth part of the workflow addresses mid tones, highlights, contrast and noise. The fifth part adds color choices to your work and the sixth part is save a formula. It also includes brushes like sharpen eyelashes, blushing cheeks, various color vignettes, blur radial and backdrop brushes, to name a few.

I love the fact that it is a workflow which allows the photographer more creativity in their creations. Each selection builds on other choices, and gives you ideas where you can artistically take your photo. I challenged myself to just do the edits in Lightroom, since I usually do a lot of my work in Photoshop. With each click in the work flow, I could start to visualize where I wanted to take the photos. Using a combination of the presets and brushes, I was very pleased with the outcome of each of the edits.

I highly recommend any of the MCP Actions or Presets. They are thoughtfully put together and allow you to create your visions easily.
